It seems my list on the web site became corrupted somehow. I deleted the items on the web site twice and they kept reappearing.
However, the 3rd time I deleted the the items, the list updated to my iPhone list which is the complete list I had created. Back to 5 stars for now.
Update: In the last few hours, when I sign out of the app, my shopping list is deleted. This is becoming more than a little issue.
This is a huge problem now. When this issue is fixed, which I’m sure it will be, I will change my rating back to 5 stars. Since the last update, I am getting this error: “Refresh error. The list could not be found. It may have been removed by another user or on another device.” This error is appearing on my iPad 5th gen & iPhone 8.
The lists are not syncing from device to device and from Mac desktop to iOs devices. This has resulted in 3 unsynced lists, one on each device. Please fix Asap.
My work around so far is to only make a list on my iPhone which I use to shop. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the app. It makes shopping so much easier & is very accurate & easy to use. This app is a great idea in concept, and it has been a lifesaver since I’ve had foot surgery, but there are some key flaws that make it very difficult to use. For example, when considering an item listed in the coupon or weekly ad section there may be a variety of choices that are on sale, but you can select the sale and choose from a drop down menu. Instead, you have to go hunting for it. If you want sunflower seeds to put on your salad (which you would find in the produce section) you have to search “sunflower seeds” and then scroll through the list, which isn’t organized in any sort of decipherable way (it’s not alphabetical, or even grouped by brand).
I really like the weekly cart option - a citation of all the items a person typically buys each week - but I don’t want to have to add the entire weekly cart to my list just to get my standby items. I like that you save more when using the digital coupons, but I feel like I’m not doing the same amount of comparative shopping hat I normally do, because there is no price per unit information. Also, there is no product information, so this is not great for people with food allergies or special diets because you can’t tell what exactly is in a product unless you’ve bought it before. The delivery website is completely different from the Clicklist/App making things difficult to navigate. I have an autistic son and I’m a single mom who works a crazy schedule. I use both services and their pharmacy. I love the pharmacy portion of app but the grocery portion is very hard to use on the go in comparison the delivery website.
You have to search for every, single item instead of being able to browse by aisle or category. Sometimes, I can’t think of the name of what I’m looking for or need some ideas and it’s a guessing game. The app is great, however for quick trips to repurchase things that you buy frequently because it remembers your history. I also love the clicklist and online coupons. I would never use them, otherwise. I browse through them when I’m traveling and add them to my card between shopping trips.
It’s very helpful and saves me a ton money of groceries and gas! It would be 5 stars if they would make it less time consuming!! It took me over an hour to “shop”. I could have just driven up there.
CINCINNATI, Ohio, July 22, 2010 – The Kroger Co. Has unveiled its all-new digital coupon center, available on its website at www.kroger.com/digitalcoupons. The coupon center is an industry-leading combination of manufacturer, Kroger brand and web-only exclusive coupons, all located in one online center. Customers can easily load offers directly onto their Kroger Plus Card or loyalty cards for other stores Kroger operates including City Market, Dillons, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Jay C, King Soopers, QFC, Ralphs and Smith’s. TOffers include coupons for popular brands such as Kroger Deluxe Ice Cream, Betty Crocker®, Tide® and Raisin Bran®, among others, from companies such as General Mills, Procter & Gamble and Kellogg’s.
The site also features great offers for Kroger Private Selection and other Kroger brand products. More than 100 digital coupons are currently available and can be accessed through www.kroger.com/digitalcoupons, the Kroger.com homepage, or the respective websites of each of its family of stores. “This new digital coupon center makes it even easier for our customers to save money,” said Evan Anthony, vice president of corporate marketing and advertising for Kroger. “Our customers asked to make online coupons easier for them to use and we listened. The time and money they can save is just the latest way Kroger delivers more value to its customers.” To access the site, customers should visit www.kroger.com/digitalcoupons, where they will be asked to link their Kroger Plus Card information to their Kroger.com account.
After doing so, shoppers can select as many offers as they’d like – up to 150 coupons – then click the “Load Coupons to Card” option to digitally “clip” each coupon and add them directly to their Kroger Plus Card. Coupons will be available one hour after they are loaded onto a customer’s card. Each digital coupon loaded to the site is subject to an expiration date, generally within six weeks of being loaded to the digital coupon center. Andrea Deckard, a blogger at www.MommySnacks.net who shares her money-saving tips with readers, said: “The Kroger digital coupon center is a virtual one-stop savings hub. The digital coupon site is easy to use and makes it easier to save. There are so many brands offered, but I’m also happy to see coupons available for Kroger items as well.
I particularly like the ability to sort by category, too. I can quickly search ‘Frozen Foods’ to see if a digital coupon is available for a brand that’s on sale, click to load to my Kroger Plus Card and wait for the discount at checkout.” In addition to its new-and-improved digital coupon center, Kroger provides a number of online services to help customers save money and add value to their lives. Earlier this summer, Kroger launched its Summer of Savings program. Also available from Kroger’s homepage, www.kroger.com, the program includes an instant-win sweepstakes and special summer-themed coupons for customers. Kroger, the nation’s largest traditional grocery retailer, employs more than 334,000 associates who serve customers in 2,470 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 31 states under two dozen local banner names including Kroger, City Market, Dillons, Jay C, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, King Soopers, QFC, Ralphs and Smith’s. The Company also operates 779 convenience stores, 375 fine jewelry stores, 909 supermarket fuel centers and 40 food processing plants in the U.S.
Kroger, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, focuses its charitable efforts on supporting hunger relief, health and wellness initiatives, and local organizations in the communities it serves.
